The last couple of months have been busy ones here at WooRank. In case you missed anything, here’s what’s recently gone live.
Criteria Improvements
- Metadata
Previously two separate criteria called Microformats and Dublin Core, this updated criterion has been combined and expanded to include RDFa and microdata, which will improve accuracy and ease-of-use in our reviews.Image may be NSFW.

To make it easier to see which elements in your website could be causing the most direct issues for search engine bots, we’ve combined our Flash and Frames criteria into one simple criterion, called Blocking Factors.

Our reviews used to separate Domain First Registered and Domain Expiration, these have now been combined so that you can find all of your domain information in one simple location.

We’ve always detected Favicons in our reviews. Now, when we find it we’ll also display it directly in the criterion.Image may be NSFW.

WooRank.com now served over HTTPS
To make sure that we’re providing the most secure experience for our users, we’ve moved WooRank from http:// to https://.
ToS Update
We’ve added a Fair Use Policy to ensure that all users experience the same great service from the WooRank tool.
New WooRank Branding
WooRank has a brand new look for spring that we released just last week! Our updated colors and logo reflect more of what our brand is really about. You can read more about the thoughts behind the release in our designer Pierre’s blog post!

This week we launched a new feature for all of you Experts listed in the directory. Every free review run on WooRank’s homepage now showcases nearby WooRank Experts who can assist with fixing website issues highlighted in our reviews.
